Just wanted to thank you for your work on the Poynings site. I have been tracing my family tree and recently found that I was descended from Sir Michael dePoynings and wanted to learn more about this branch of my Scottish heritage. Your site was very helpful in that respect. My family ended up in Mississippi, USA by the way, but I currently live in Kansas.
 
Your village looks absolutely charming, and all the people quite friendly. I hope to visit one day, though it won't be in the near future I'm afraid.
