Special events and dates this month

  • The special service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for loved ones who have died will be on Sunday 1st November at 6pm at Poynings.
  • The names of the fallen will be read at all our Services of Remembrance – the service at Edburton will be on Sunday 15th November.
  • The Remembrance Day service at Poynings at 10.50am will include 2 minutes silence at 11am.
  • Deanery Synod meets at Hurstpierpoint Church on Tuesday 10th November from 8pm.
  • A Downland celebration of songs and local tales will be held at Pyecombe Church on Satruday 14th November, with the Pyecombe Choir and Sussex wine: £7.50 for adults, children free.
  • Extra study groups will meet at the Rectory on Wednesdays 18th Nov and 2nd December for those who took part in previous sessions.
  • Messy Church at Fulking: 20th November, 4.30pm
  • Edburton Quiz Evening is Friday 27th November at Preston Nomads Cricket Ground, Fulking.
  • Guest preacher at Newtimber on 29th November from ‘Off the Fence’ – do come and listen. We will also say thank you to Fred Cook after this service.
