Special events and dates this month

  • The Gardens at Pangdean will be open on Wednesday 3rd June, in memory of Sue – starting with coffee at 11am, followed by an escorted tour and ending with a light lunch. If you can tell Ian in advance if you are able to go, please do (tel 841670), but otherwise just turn up. There will be a further opportunity in September to view the latest horticultural additions.

  • Edburton PCC will meet at 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd June at Graham’s house.

  • Saturday 6th June is POYNINGS FETE. Don’t miss it! This is our biggest church fund raiser of the year, and a wonderful village event. This year there will even be a MURDER mystery to solve!

  • The second of our Messy Church events will take place on the evening of Friday 19th June at 4.30pm at Fulking Hall. Please remember this new initiative in your prayers.

  • There will be a Summer Concert of light choral music in Poynings Church on Sunday 28th June at 3pm given by our own Jamie and Nick Andrews and friends– in aid of Church funds. £5 on the door, under 18s free. A lovely way to spend a summer’s afternoon. Do come along.

  • Advance notice of 2 events for July – String Ensemble and Strawberry tea at Newtimber Place on July 5th, and Pyecombe Village Weekend on 11th and 12th July. Joint PCCs will NOT now meet on July 6th – new date to be circulated to all PCC members.
