Betty, Linda and Jane would like to say a big thank you to Matt and Mark for arranging not one but 2 very successful stoolball matches raising a huge amount of money towards the cost of buying and erecting the seat which has taken pride of place in the Playing Field where Bob spent many hard working but happy hours.
We are also grateful to the Royal Oak for displaying a gift box which also raised a great deal of cash, and thank you Sheila for your part in this.
None of this would have been possible but for the generosity of those who took part in the stoolball evenings and the patrons of The Oak, thank you all.
