On Sunday, 3rd August at 2.30pm there will be a Harp Recital with Pimms and a Strawberry Tea in the gardens of Newtimber Place. Proceeds to the Church. Tickets £12 for adults, £5 for children from Shirley Murrell or Lucy Dalrymple tel 01273 832009. Please buy tickets in good time to help us to assess demand and numbers.

Friday 15th August is the festival of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Edwards in Burgess Hill will be having a Sung Mass at 7.30pm followed by refreshments, to which everyone is welcome.

16th – 17th August (10am -5pm) – flower festival at St Martin’s Church, Westmeston (in the Beacon Parish). Theme is wedding anniversaries. Refreshments available.

Advance notice of a course to be run in the autumn on the topic of responding to people of other faiths. Caroline will be leading this 12 week course in the Deanery – probably at Hassocks, on Tuesday evenings. Look out for details. This will not be instead of our own study groups.
