On Friday evening March 11th. at 7pm there will be a talk in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church Lane, Newtimber BN6 9BT by the Reverend Peter Owen Jones, Rector at Firle on “PATHLANDS”. He is a charismatic author, broadcaster and speaker about his walks on the South Downs and other parts of rural Britain.
Tickets at £10 each (half the proceeds will be for our church funds) will include some refreshments. Payable to “Newtimber Church PCC”. Parking will be in the road.

The Opera “CARMEN” by Bizet will be the subject of a talk with musical illustration by JONATHAN HINDEN, retired principal coach at Glyndebourne, on Saturday April 2nd. at 7pm. This is the fourth in a series he has presented to an enthusiastic audience in the beautiful hall at Newtimber Place. Parking in the adjacent field.
Tickets at £20 are obtainable from the above ladies, and will include some refreshments. Proceeds with be for “Newtimber church PCC”.
On Sunday April 17th. at 2.30pm the Newtimber Place gardens will be open for their spring display in the National Gardens Scheme. Teas will be served in the tea rooms for the support of Newtimber Church.
