Special events and dates this month
- There will be a meeting of the Joint PCCs on Weds 2nd July at 7pm in Holy Trinity Poynings, followed by a bring and share supper at The Rectory.
- July 12th to 13th is Pyecombe’s VILLAGE WEEKEND and FLOWER FESTIVAL. The theme for floral displays this year is ‘Achievements.’ At 11am on Saturday 12th, Zoe Ball and her mother Julia Peckham, will cut a ribbon on our new extension at Pyecombe, to the accompaniment of the Mid Sussex Brass Band.
- Deanery Synod meets on Weds 16th July at Holy Trinity Poynings.
- On Thursday 17th July, the new Vicar of Henfield, The Revd Paul Doick, will be licensed at St Peter’s Church, Henfield.
- Edburton PCC meets at 7.30pm on Tuesday 22nd July at Fulking Village Hall.
- Poynings PCC meets on Monday 28th July at 7.30pm in The Rectory.
- ADVANCE NOTICE: On Sunday 3rd August, there will be a strawberry tea and Harp Recital in Newtimber Place gardens in aid of the church at Newtimber. Tickets £12 for adults, £5 for children, from Shirley Murrell or Lucy Dalrymple, tel 01273 832009.
